Staying positive.

The older I get, the more I find myself wanting to be surrounded by people with good energy. People who are inspiring and uplifting. Because negativity breeds negativity, I am shutting down a lot of toxic people. At my work place, home, and just the general public. At first, I felt bad. But as I felt better about removing the negativity, I no longer felt bad about shutting down people. 
I get that terrible things happen and life can be a struggle. But if you don't find a way to be positive, it's not going to get better.

I truly try to find the good in everyday. My life is far from simple and easy, but there are so many good things going that I thrive off the positivity. Even if the only thing I can be thankful for is that I woke up again and can feel the air in my lungs; well, that's amazing all in itself. When I'm feeling stressed or on edge, I remind myself that I can handle it. Positive affirmations really go a long way, too. 

Take the time to find the good in each day. Find one thing to be grateful for. It'll make a huge difference when you're reeling in the good stuff!
